Fresh Strawberry Masks Recipes

Nature supplies an abundance of fresh wholesome ingredients your skin is crying out for!  How fresh do you wanna go?!!  How about an awesome fresh strawberry mask that smells like pure summer?!!
Here are two masks to give a try. This first one incorporates egg whites and honey for drawing out oils and impurities from the skin, tightening it up and adding that all important moisture as well as bacteria killing properties.
The strawberries contain salicylic acid which you will find  in the ingredient list of many acne medications. Making this mask great for troubled skin. My 14 year old daughter tried this mask out for me and said it made her face feel "soft and clean and fresh".

   Recipe #1  Ingredients:
3 large strawberries,  1 egg white,   1 TBL honey
Simply put all the ingredients in your blender  and blend until smooth.  Start with a clean face, then spred
mask over your face avoiding your eye area. Leave on 15 mins.  Rinse well, first with warm water then finish
up with cool water to close up those pores! Pat your face dry.   DO NOT USE this mask if you are allergic
to any of these ingredients.
Why Strawberries?  If your like me you want to know why, right?  Strawberries are very high in vitamin C. Vitamin C is found in most skin creams and face washes as it helps in the production of collogen, promoting anti-aging effects. They are a great herbal skin care ingredient containing high amounts of minerals, omega 3 fatty acids, and other vitamins as well.

   Recipe #2  Ingredients:
3 large strawberries,   plain yogurt,   banana,   1 TBL honey
All these ingredients in this mask contribute to anti-aging. Honey is a great cleanser and humectant, antibacterial,  yogurt is
a soother, a nourisher with lactic acid and enzymes to hydrate and smooth, and bananas.....
Why Bananas? Bananas make your skin silky, smooth, nourishing and neutralizing away the negative effects of free radicals on the skin.  They contain vit. C, vit B,  potassium, calcium, to name a few.
Always use ripe bananas.   Save a few tablespoons of mashed bananas next time you make banana bread, and simply apply them to your face!   You will be absolutely surprised how soft and supple your skin will
feel. Add sugar for a nice scrub. I'll be doing a blog soon on the benefits of sugar to the skin.  I just did this mask this morning and my face feels soft, supple, with a soothing, fresh feel.
Love to hear your comments if you try these fresh face recipes.   Store left over masks in frig 1 week, covered.
