Essential Oil Blend for winter cough and colds

I love to use my essential oil diffuser. I made this simple blend of 3 easy to get and affordable essential oils with the idea of  winter days in mind.  It's been going in my room for the past couple of days and I'm loving it! Fresh and crisp. With the added benefits of cleansing the air,
this is a winter cold season must.
The health benefits are great as it it good for coughs and colds, but I have to admit, the cozy feeling of well being that it brings out is number one in my book.

Recipe:
3 drops sweet orange essential oil
3 drops clove oil
3 drops cinnamon oil

Sweet orange oil is an uplifting, mood boosting essential oil. Fills a room with a sense of peace and well being. Add to it clove and cinnamon and you have a winning blend for the holidays and winter.

Clove oil is great for headaches, cough, and stress. Energizing and stimulating.

Cinnamon oil is a great stress relief after a long day. Good for coughs, colds and chest congestion.

Shown is my 100 ml ultrasonic diffuser I got from Piping Rock on-line. This is a good size diffuser to use in a bedroom or bathroom or other small room. Fine to put next to your little ones bed when they are a bit stuffed up, or need help getting to sleep. Add lavender oil for sleep help.
It holds 100ml of water, that's a little over 3 oz, and lasts about 5 hours on low.
It has a red blinking light to let me know my water is running low, and soft multi colored lights that can be manually changed.
I use a large 500ml diffuser for my living room area that stays diffusing for over 10 hours.

Enjoy this simple and effective blend for your holidays and the winter season for coughs and colds

I got my small diffuser and essential oils at Piping Rock affordably priced, as well as quality.  You can find quality ultrasonic diffusers on line at Amazona as well as eBay. Local department stores, and pharmacies are a go-to place too.

Enjoy!  Anna
