Anna's Quick Tips

"Anna's Quick Tips" is a feature that will appear regularly on this natural beauty blog.   You will enjoy these tips and will save money going it natural!   .

   Fresh Lemon Rub:
Cut a lemon and gently rub on elbows, knees and heals to soften away those rascal rough spots!
Squeeze some of that lemon into any fresh face mask, helps remove dead skin cells, unblock pores and naturally brightens your skin. Beautiful glow.

   Yogurt and Honey:
A soother to that sensitive skin owner. Helps with redness.  Just mix a little of each, consistency is your call.  Smooth on face with finger tips, or foundation brush.    Awww..........so soothing.

   Rose Water Toner:
Mix one cup packed fresh rose petals, pour 1 cup hot water over, allow to steep until cool.     Strain off
water, discard petals.  Store in frig.   Apply with cotton square, or just splash it on with abandon!  Lovely.

Fresh Strawberry Masks Recipes

Nature supplies an abundance of fresh wholesome ingredients your skin is crying out for!  How fresh do you wanna go?!!  How about an awesome fresh strawberry mask that smells like pure summer?!!
Here are two masks to give a try. This first one incorporates egg whites and honey for drawing out oils and impurities from the skin, tightening it up and adding that all important moisture as well as bacteria killing properties.
The strawberries contain salicylic acid which you will find  in the ingredient list of many acne medications. Making this mask great for troubled skin. My 14 year old daughter tried this mask out for me and said it made her face feel "soft and clean and fresh".
